Jennefer Ho, Ph.D.
Dr. Jennefer Ho, Clinical Manager at Executive Mental Health, graduated in 2009 from UC Berkeley with Honors and Distinction in General Scholarship. In 2016, Dr. Ho received her Ph.D. from the San Diego State University/UC San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, where she specialized in Behavioral Medicine and Health Psychology. She completed her internship at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach, where she also continued with her postdoctoral training specializing in the treatment of individuals with substance abuse, liver disease, and HIV. Dr. Ho also has published several original research articles in peer-reviewed journals regarding the relationship between dementia caregiver stress and biomarkers of health. Finally, Dr. Ho had direct clinical experience treating veterans, geriatric populations, college students, and patients with chronic medical conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, cancer, and chronic kidney disease.
In October of 2017, Dr. Ho joined Executive Mental Health, Inc. as a clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy to geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities. She was promoted to the position of Clinical Manager in 2018, in which she trains and supervises Staff Psychologists.
