Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Feng is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of California with specialty training in geriatric psychology and medicine. Dr. Feng presently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Executive Mental Health.

In 2021, she was named a Rising Star in McKnight’s III Annual Women of Distinction Awards, in recognition of her exceptional commitment to the skilled nursing community. In 2022, Dr. Feng was awarded “Woman to Watch” in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women’s Leadership Awards and Symposium, for her significant contributions in geropsychology and as a business leader in Los Angeles. And in 2023, Dr. Feng was included as an honoree in Aging Media’s Future Leaders Class of 2023, for her work as a dynamic leader making a push to define the future of aging America.

Dr. Feng graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Science from the University of Southern California, widely considered one of the foremost gerontology programs in the United States. Dr. Feng then completed a year-long APA accredited internship at the Boston V.A. Medical Center, in which she treated veterans with a wide range of medical and emotional difficulties. Next, Dr. Feng completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Geropsychology at the Boston V.A. Medical Center, with an emphasis on Behavioral Medicine.

While completing her fellowship, Dr. Feng concurrently was appointed as a Teaching Fellow in Psychiatry at the Boston University School of Medicine and a Clinical Fellow in Psychology within the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. After the completion of her training, she has obtained extensive training and experience working in long-term care settings and in the treatment of individuals with chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Feng has presented on a range of topics, including, but not limited to, geriatric care, chronic pain, behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, and evidence-based therapy techniques to treat individuals across the lifespan. She also provided clinical supervision to graduate-level psychology students at the University of Southern California. Furthermore, Dr. Feng serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (secondary appointment). Finally, Dr. Feng serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for scientific journals including the Clinical Gerontologist, Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, and Psychophysiology.
